How Can I Help the Vincent House?

Donations/Gifts:

Gifts to Vincent House can take many different shapes and forms. The most obvious is a memorial gift; one that is given in the name of a person who has died. Some gifts are given to honor someone on an occasion- a birthday, wedding or anniversary. You can include Vincent House in your estate planning by talking with your lawyer and identifying the Vincent House in your Will or as the beneficiary of insurance policies. We also accept gifts-in-kind, goods that the donor purchases and then gives to the Vincent House.

Gifts given to honor, or in memory of, another person are acknowledged, without mention of the dollar amount donated, to that person or their family. Receipts for tax purposes are available.

Volunteer Opportunities at Vincent House:

We are always looking for new Resident Care Volunteers. These people, who work in teams of 2, have direct contact with our residents during 4-hour shifts. They provide assistance in the activities of daily living (walking, eating, toileting, bathing) and friendship and support to residents and their families. Resident Care Volunteers are trained in the necessary skills and are encouraged to work with a volunteer mentor for as long as they need.

We also have several Support Service Volunteer Teams. We have teams of people who do house cleaning (anything from light housework to full seasonal cleaning), outdoor and indoor maintenance, gardening, fundraising and publicity.

If you have a skill or a talent you’d like to share with us.. make us an offer!!! Contact us at
