Vincent House 9th Annual Polar Plunge
Saturday, April 6th, 2019 at the Beachcomber on Conesus Lake.
Last year, we added the Lil’ Dippers to our Polar Plunge event, since many younger children and/or their parents wondered if there was a way their younger children could participate and begin to learn how to "PAY IT FORWARD" so.... we put our heads together and came up with the idea to include them. With the assistance of Mrs. Campini and her assistant, Shelby Webster, and the National Junior Honor Society, at the Wayland-Cohocton School, it was a huge success. They are already planning on enhancing this aspect of the Polar Plunge for next year. Children 8 years of age and under will be able to get sponsors and join in the festivities. A special time will be allotted for them to learn the chicken dance with our famous Vincent House chicken and then parade down to the lake and dip their little hands or toes in the lake. Our regular registration forms will be available at the school, online, or at Vincent House for them to use.
Due to the large number of participants and on-lookers, Turbo Taxi will again be offering free taxi service along the West Lake Road.
